On the way to Mt Isa we stopped at Corella Dam, Mt Isa and then Camooweal Billabong.  Lovely to see water in this part of the country.

After Isa, Tennant Creek was an eye opener.  Very sad to see all the shops looking derelict and abandoned, bars on all the windows and doors, high fences around everything.  Real shame.  There were a few tourist places to visit - The Pebbles, Mary Ann Dam and the place we stayed at was a local farm about 5kms out of town.  Very peaceful.

We stopped at the Devil's Marbles and they were astounding!!!  It is a pile of rocks out in the middle of nowhere.  Worth a look.  Nature is amazing.

We are being treated to beautiful sunsets, and just as beautiful sunrises everyday.  The weather has cooled off and it is good being a 'tourist' again.

Off to Alice
