Canberra was very dry, and cold!!!  But, after a bit of mucking around, we finally got the van fixed (sort of, still leaks a little) and we headed off.  It was very frustrating in Canberra - everywhere you go you have to pay to park - want to see the free gardens, sure, pay for parking.  Want to see the free museum, sure, pay for parking.  You even have to pay to park at the information complex at the Arboretum.  Wee Jasper (Burrunjuck Dam) was also very dry, but still pretty.  It is really surreal to see cattle grazing on ground that is the bottom of a dam!!!

We went from Tumut, down the west side of the Snowy Mountains to Corryong.  What a beautiful part of NSW.  Lovely little towns, beautiful scenery and nice free camps.  We free camped one night and nearly froze, so we stuck to showgrounds until we hit Albury/Wodonga where we upgraded the doona and now are right to beat the cold.

We spent some time exploring the upper snowy river hydro set up and apart from one dam being very low, the rest where pretty spectacular.

After a stay in Wodonga we are going to head off along the Murray River.
