After spending a few days in Ceduna to stock up we headed across the Nullabor.  What an experience!!!  The first (and only) tourist stop was the head of the bight and that was a sight to see.  Spectacular cliffs with the bluest water I have seen.  Just beautiful.

Then the Nullabor - lots of 'rests stops' for travellers to stop at (no water), regular fuel stops, good road, and a tail wind the whole way.  Looking forward to exploring the south west of WA.

Oh and the border crossing - interesting - car searched, caravan searched, including opening all the cupboards, under the bed, and yes, even checked the toilet!!  Very serious about fresh fruit and vegies!!!!

We stopped in to a little fishing town on a day trip and what a find - we have been here for 10 days so far.  Venus Bay is just beautiful.  The 'town' consists of about 40 houses, a 'shop' and the caravan park.  But the fishing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It is truly a hidden gem.  The photos say it all......
