Cosy Corner was an amazing free camp.  Very popular, you have to get in early.  Right on the beach and we spent a week just relaxing.  Except for the big bush fire about 10kms away!!!!

We then stopped at a property outside Denmark and did a few trips into the Karri forests, went totally off road and got some amazing photos.  We saw one of the biggest trees I have ever seen, and also a ridiculously high tree house!!!!

After all that excitement we stopped at Sid's Campground at Northcliffe.  What an awesome place.  Local farmer who has developed part of his 100 acres to accommodate us nomads.  Great place to base yourself and enjoy the forests and coasts all close by.  WA has some amazing coastline and beaches.

We are now off to the big smoke - Busselton - to do some maintenance and shopping!!!!

That was a bit close......

After the new year festivities we moved on to Albany.  What a beautiful place.  We visited the National Anzac Centre and spent a day at the last operational whaling station in Australia.  The whaling station was very interesting and well done, but I still felt a bit disturbed by it all.  So glad they stopped......

We are now off to Cosy Corner (how nice does that sound!!!!)

Another pretty spot

The old whaling ship

We spent Christmas and new year at a fantastic bush camp at Millers Point.  We had a spot right on the edge of the water and Wayne was able to go fishing every morning.  He usually bagged out within an hour and then spent the rest of the time 'up sizing'.  Millers Point is on a large estuary system that only opens to the sea occasionally, so it was full of nice fat bream.
