WOW - South Australia's weather is insane!!!  We have spent 10 days holed up at the Maitland Showgrounds waiting out the strong winds and rain.  Fortunately we were behind a big shed which protected us from most of the wind.  So, after 5 seasons of Game of Thrones, we finally coped a break in the weather and headed towards the southern Flinders Ranges.  One free camp spot of the way was at Craddock, a one pub, and nothing else stop.  After looking forward to a counter meal for dinner we discovered that the pub is open every day except Tuesdays.  Guess what day we were there!!!!!!

Onto the Flinders.  What an amazing place.  Lots of wild flowers, lots of old historic buildings and lots of 4WD tracks.  We went on several drives through gorges, along river beds and through creeks.  It was such a beautiful place.  Everywhere you looked was amazing.  Fortunately the weather was lovely the whole time we were there.

We are now heading to Port Augtusta, and the weather is turning windy again.  Just when we thought we could pack away the jumpers.......
